Primary Pumpkin

Amanda writes, "I drew a huge, feature-less pumpkin on orange poster board and cut all the features of a Jack-O-Lantern out of black construction paper. I made several different options (2 mouths, 4 sets of eyes, 2 eyebrows, 2 noses - you can add ears) and placed these all on the board with songs writte on the back. The children would choose a feature and get to place it however they wanted. If we had time they could change a feature already in place with an unselected feature still available (avoids repeated songs). This was a BIG hit. It's great because we can take as little or as long as we needed and it was pretty predictable (they love scary faces) so we were able to sing the songs that I really wanted." : )
