I designed these service stars to help my family remember to #LIGHTtheWORLD this month without the pressure of daily projects. Watch the video below for all the details.

FREE 2017 Primary Printables: Choose the Right

Primary2017-BlogListing-01Hi friends,
Are we ready for this?!! 2017 curriculum has been announced and we have the printables READY for you!¬† I had such a great time making this kit for the primary theme, “Choose the Right.”¬†¬† As I was in the starting phases of this kit, one of my favorite quotes from Elder Stevenson kept coming to my mind.¬† In his 2009 address, he said, “You are never lost when you can see the temple.”¬† I love that quote and knew that I wanted it portrayed in this printable kit.¬† When we come upon a choice to be made, if we are choosing to look towards the temple we truly will never be lost.¬† I hope you enjoy these printables as much as I enjoyed making them!

FREE printable – Father’s Day / Priesthood Power Gift

Hi friends,
Can you believe that summer is just around the corner?¬† Today was my little guy’s last day of preschool! If you are a planner like me, you might be looking ahead to the summer months and already starting to plan things out.
In June, the Come Follow Me curriculum is all about the priesthood, which is so fitting because Father’s Day is also in June.¬† I decided to make these fun printables that can be used as a gift to recognize and thank the men in our life for using priesthood power to bless our lives.

PoweradePic

Included in this kit are two different printables.¬† One is a bottle wrap to wrap around a bottle of Powerade.¬† The other is a tag that can be used to tie around a bottle of Powerade, or to use with any gift.¬† I also created these on 2 different sizes of paper, 11×17 (to be able to wrap around the entire bottle) and 8.5×11.¬† All the files are available here.

These printables also coordinate with the Come Follow Me lesson printables that are available here.

Heart,

Melanie B.

#Hallelujah: A FREE hand-painted Easter kit from Heidi Swapp

Sugardoodle has partnered with six fantastic artists to help promote the 2016 Mormon.org Easter video, Hallelujah (launching 3/13/2016 at Easter.Mormon.org). Each of our artists have created their own free kit of printable Easter supplies for your family to enjoy.

Our third gorgeous Easter kit is from the lovely Heidi Swapp of HeidiSwapp.com. Heidi has lent her phenomenal handwriting to this beautiful series of Christ-centered nested envelopes. Here is a quick video from Heidi chatting about why she created this delightful kit.

All of the printables and instructions are completely¬†FREE¬†however you won’t find them here on Sugardoodle. Instead, we’ve shared them with some of our¬†favorite LDS¬†bloggers and site owners.¬†They’ve each put their own spin on Heidi’s¬†creations and posted all the FREE printables on their own sites. You can find them by visiting¬†the¬†#Hallelujah main page¬†and clicking on one of the Supporting Site links. The list launched yesterday¬†and is growing daily so be sure to check back often.

HS_evelopesprocess-01

We love the Easter season and all it represents. We hope this series of free posts and printables will help your family get a little closer to the Savior and to each other over the next few weeks.

Please¬†reach out on social media platforms and¬†share our kit maker’s creations with others. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #hallelujah so you can help promote the beautiful message of the¬†Mormon.org video¬†on your own feeds.

We want to give a big thank you to Heidi for her thoughtful kit, the supporting site owners for reposting all her hard work, and to you for posting/pinning/tweeting about them. Happy Easter everyone!
